“And how from infancy you have known the Holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith.”
– 2 Timothy 3:15
Special welcome from the Children’s Ministry
Remember that fluttery feeling in your stomach when you first found out you were expecting? Or the moment you laid eyes on the beautiful child God entrusted to you? Think back to when you held their tiny hands, helping them take their first steps—steadying them so they wouldn’t fall.
There will come a time when they no longer want to be held. They’ll want to run, explore, and play. But before they grow up and face the world on their own, it’s our responsibility to guide them—not just in how to walk, but in how to walk with God.
At Primitive Haitian Church, we are here to support you in that sacred journey. Let us partner with you in nurturing their faith and helping them grow in the Word of God.
When & Why We Meet
Long-Term Vision
Generation Alpha is undoubtedly the future of the church and the community. That’s why, in the long run, our vision is to invest in them deeply: to nurture, mentor, and equip them for all that God is calling them to become. Whether they grow into pastors, deacons, missionary women, teachers, or anything else God sets before them, we want to help lay the spiritual and practical foundation they’ll need to lead with wisdom, compassion, and bold faith.
Rehearsal Schedule and Activities.
We meet every Saturday from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM to rehearse songs, practice dances, and prepare for Sunday morning services. During our time together, we also explore Bible stories that teach meaningful life lessons the kids can apply in their daily lives. We teach them how to pray, lead, and even prepare a message to share during a Sunday service.
5-day Summer Camp Highlights
We host a fun-filled 5-day Summer Camp each year! Throughout the week, kids dive deeper into the Bible while also learning more about the world around them—through hands-on lessons, meaningful peer interactions, and visits from inspiring special guests.
Each day includes a memorable outing that helps bring the lessons to life. We’ve explored the National Park to appreciate God’s creation and understand the importance of caring for nature. One year, we toured the local Fire Department to learn about community service and career opportunities. And of course, we had a blast at Hershey Park, where we focused on building friendships and celebrating the value of church family.
And for our next adventure? We hope you’ll be there to experience it with us!
