Our Mission

Primitive Haitian Church strives to be a place where heartfelt praise and worship bring heaven to earth. We are committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and reaching out to others through compassionate service—meeting their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs.

  • 2008 - Pastor Francius and Lorette Pierre assumed leadership of Primitive Haitian Church.
  • 2010 - Prior to the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Pastor Francius received a vision to begin our annual revival with the theme, "Vi’n Di Bondye Mesi Pou Tout Bagay" (Give God Thanks for All Things), inspired by 1 Thessalonians 5:18.
  • 2015 - PHC reached a significant milestone by becoming an independent church, while continuing to collaborate with various denominational partners.
  • 2016 - PHC launched its first community outreach initiative by providing meals to the homeless in the Washington, D.C. area.
  • 2018 - We launched our prayer line, providing a dedicated space for spiritual connection and intercession.
  • 2020 - In response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and widespread closures, we expanded the prayer line from two 30-minute sessions daily to four one-hour sessions. These gatherings were enriched with Bible study, offering deeper spiritual nourishment during a time of global uncertainty.
  • 2023 - The Sociocultural Group was established to foster community, joy, and fellowship through thoughtfully planned events and activities, enhancing the overall well-being and unity of our congregation.
